In the UK universities have rapidly changed ever since education became a money making scheme. Like everything else for the last 7 years, tuition has increased, now to a whopping £3,225. Without a loan, how man ppl can afford this. The yearly increase is scaring many youngsters from even attempting to apply :\ I dont really think this can be blamed on the recession as we have been seeing a steady climb in tuition since 2002.

However, there is some good news, the guarding is reporting that the government are reviewing the entire tuition fee havoc and might even scrap it Shocked http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2009/jul/08/tuition-fees-waived-for-staying-home-proposal. I wouldl like to know your views and how much it cost to study where you live.

Since I live in the UK too, I'm also stuck with the absurdly high tuition fees, waiving the fees would be most welcome from me!

This is very true, I've known people that have decided not to go to Uni because of the amount they would have to pay.

Yh its a crazy problem that students are facing here in the UK. I dont think the government will pass the law to make studying free, i simply dont think they can afford it. Harsh but true Undecided
